1/ What color of lip pencil should I use?
For a natural look use a lip pencil the same color as your lipstick.
For a more sophisticated look use a pencil that is darker than the color of your lipstick.
2/ What texture of lipstick and lip gloss should I use?
Choose the lipstick texture according to the beauty look desired:
- For a very natural make-up look apply Masters Colors Pure Shine Lipsticks which will provide transparent, high-shine color.
- For shiny, natural lips apply lip gloss for radiance, shine and transparent colour.
- For an iridescent make-up look use a pearly lipstick. Masters Colors Pearly Sheen is also the ideal product to apply for a pearly lip finish.
- For a discreet, powdery make-up look apply a matt-finish, long-lasting texture.
- For a sophisticated make-up look apply a strong coloured, satin-finish lipstick with a creamy, covering texture.
3/ How do I ensure that my lipstick stays on a long time?
To even up the color of your lips and give them a full look, apply a dab of foundation or anti-dark circle cream.
Use a well-sharpened pencil and start by drawing the heart of the mouth, shaping a small V. Then draw the mouth contour, starting from the middle of the lips and moving outwards. Draw the corners of the lips last.
Powder the lips with Masters Colors Fine Loose Powder and brush with a large brush to remove the surplus.
Take up some lipstick with a lip brush. Always start with the middle and apply the lipstick to the lips with the lip brush, in light, successive dabs. Delicately remove any surplus color with a tissue.
Powder again and apply a second coat of color.
Use a brush to apply Masters Colors Fixer over the lipstick. Open the mouth slightly to complete make-up of the corners of your mouth. The texture of the Fixer prevents the lipstick from running and leaves the lips looking shiny and feeling comfortable.
This method of application will ensure a long-lasting effect.
4/ How do I obtain a subtle pearly/shine effect on the lips?
Apply Masters Colors Pearly Sheen to achieve a pearly finish on your lips:
- over lipstick to tone down the shine effect
- alone for a natural finish.
5/ How do I make my lips look more shiny?
Apply a Masters Colors Gloss, either colored or transparent, depending on the color effect sought.
6) What do I do to remove any smudge of my lipstick or lip pencil?
Apply a thin layer of Masters Colors Make-up Corrector to the concerned area. This will remove any lipstick or pencil smudges.
